ENV 5 The Pond 59x91cm - £350 Acrylic on handmade canvas

My pond is small and when this was painted it was shiny and full of goldfish.

Painted specially for an Open Call 2026 by Cranleigh Arts Centre on a theme of music for their summer Exhibition. Why this image? - basically done as a "joke" because Paul Jones is their patron in 2026 and it was a huge Manfred's hit! It was selected and displayed and loved by the children who visited the show.

£300 - it comes with spare smaller sequins in case they fall off.

ENV58 Poles in Venice - everything you might see in Venice in one image. Frame 21x27in £450

Acrylic on board and framed. The frame is painted so that just a glimmer of gold shows through where it has been intentionally scratched. Doing this to a frame is a bit of a one-off idea that hasn't been repeated yet.

It is the last of a series of Venice Pictures - all others being sold a while ago.

There is a slight bubble in the corner below the signature - caused when the roof of my studio leaked - it is part of the history of this image and shows up in some lighting!

This expressive image reflects a journey climbing up to the hills in Portugal, to have Piri Piri chicken. The colours found in the houses merge with the hotness of the day.

Originally created as a cover for a music CD, this was inspired by the breakwaters at West Wittering and the paths around East Head, which as painted also look a it like curling keyboards!

Painted on the day of 9/11 having seen the towers collapse in black and white. Two ready handmade canvases 14x48in were perfect for the subject. It was light touched-up the next day but basically it is as painted on 9/11/2001.
